Now to stop recording simply double tap on the Share button again, this will stop the recording and save the recording to the Capture Gallery on your PS4 Console.

To take a screenshot in PS4, simply click the Share button once, this should take the screenshot and save it to the Capture library.
To change the setting of the screenshot capture, for example like to save in PNG or JPEG, you can modify the setting in the Sharing and Broadcast Settings. For this you need to press and hold the Share button and select the Sharing and Broadcast Settings and select your choice options and save.
