This seems annoying when you are trying to insert the Disc to your PlayStation console and the Disc won’t go inside or it gets ejected automatically with or without a beep noise.
There are various known reasons for this, I’ll share with you the different reasons and also let you know which trick actually solved my issue
.How to Fix the Disc not inserting to PS4 Console
This seems like a trick but it worked for me, when the DIsc was not inserting to the PS4, I simply Powered off the PS4 Console using the Controller and turned it back on again. The first thing i did is without inserting the Disc into the Console I clicked the Eject button and then inserted the Disc to the Console this resolved my issue.
There can also be different reasons where the Disc is not getting inserted to the PS4 console, let discuss in details in the following.
Disc Issues
The first thing you need to check is, make sure the disc is without any visible scratches, cracks, or damage. A damaged disc might not insert or could cause issues. Also most possible known issues is make sure you are using Original disc instead pirated game Disc this could also cause reading the Disc and Eject automatically.
Check the Disc Drive
Check and ensure that there are no objects in the Disc drive which is blocking the disc to be inserted in the PS4. Look for debris, dust or any object causing issues to insert the Disc into the PS4 Console.
Check inserting Disc
This could be a common problem for the beginners where they are inserting the Disc properly. Make sure you are inserting the Disc to the Console with the label up.
Completely Shutting Down the PS4
Power cycling refers to the process of completely shutting down an electronic device, removing its power source, waiting for a short period, and then restarting it. In the context of a PlayStation 4 (PS4), power cycling involves completely turning off the console and then disconnecting its power source before rebooting it. Here’s how to power cycle a PS4
Completely Shutting down the PS4 console is a process of Power cycling, the process is to remove all the power cords to the Console and hold for a short period of time and reboot the PS4 again. Thi should fix the issue in most of the cases.
